3 Seconds vs 15 Minutes

Why sysadmins and developers are replacing heavy server web dashboards with DockMon.

~15 Min
Traditional Web Panels (Portainer, etc.)
  • Requires opening public TCP ports (9000, 9443) and adjusting cloud security groups.
  • Consumes 150MB - 300MB RAM continuously running agents on small VPS nodes.
  • Exposes root Docker daemon socket over HTTP APIs.
3 Sec
DockMon (Pure SSH Port 22)
  • Zero Setup: Paste standard terminal SSH command and immediately control containers.
  • 0 MB Server RAM: Leaves 100% of your VPS memory dedicated to your real applications.
  • Zero Exposed Ports: Runs entirely over encrypted SSH with your existing SSH keys.

Engineered for Frictionless Remote Management

No bloated server agents, no insecure open TCP ports. Clean, lightweight native desktop controls over standard SSH.

100% Agentless SSH Port 22

Zero software or daemons to install on your VPS. Connects directly using pure JavaScript SSH2, executing standard Docker CLI commands over encrypted channels.

Docker Compose Hierarchy

Automatically scans project labels (com.docker.compose.project) and groups related microservices together. Restart or inspect entire stacks with a single click.

Hardware-Accelerated xterm.js

Real-time log streaming with true ANSI 256/TrueColor syntax highlighting, pause scroll lock, buffer size adjustments, and instant regex search highlighting.

One-Click Lifecycle Actions

Instantly Start, Stop, or Restart containers with built-in safety confirmation dialogs to prevent accidental disruptions in production environments.

Health & Port Telemetry

Real-time container status detection: Running (🟒), Exited (πŸ”΄), Restarting (🟑), or Paused (⏸️), along with Docker health check status and mapped port chips.

Encrypted Host Bookmarks

Save frequently accessed VPS servers as encrypted bookmarks for instant one-click switching across all your cloud providers and homelab machines.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about DockMon, security, and deployment.

No. DockMon is 100% agentless. As long as your VPS has SSH enabled and Docker installed, DockMon communicates directly through encrypted SSH commands (docker ps, docker compose ls, docker logs -f). There are zero containers or services to run on your server.

Yes. Any saved bookmarks and credentials are encrypted on your local machine using your OS keychain and Electron's secure credential storage. Credentials are never sent to external servers or telemetries.

Yes. The built-in SSH command parser automatically detects custom port flags (e.g. -p 2222) and identity file arguments (-i ~/.ssh/custom_key.pem). You can also configure them manually.

Yes! DockMon is released under the permissive MIT License by Zephyrus Labs. You are completely free to use it for personal, homelab, and commercial infrastructure management.
